An Evening at Tiffany's!

An Evening at Tiffany's!

The Caroline Doll, CEO of POSH PR®, talks about the Tiffany's Watch Event, and shares how both you and your SO have plenty of reasons to shop at Tiffany's!

Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Dogs are man’s best friend. Hmm. Well, I’m of the opinion one can have more than one best friend, and I think watches can be both a girl’s and a man’s best friend, too!

Marilyn sang about it. Audrey made it a movie icon. Tiffany & CO. is a brand of American style and sophistication, and those are just the words to describe the evening we had at the Tiffany & CO. Watch Event at Stony Point Fashion Park last Thursday.

Finally, cold weather has arrived. Thursday was icy in more than one way! Cold weather and shopping? The holiday season is upon us, dolls! With its ultimate selection in classic timepieces and the latest trends for men, Tiffany’s is your go-to couples shopping destination!

We already know to thank Tiffany’s for making the engagement ring what it is today. The traditional bezel wasn’t capable of showcasing the brilliant-cut diamonds only Tiffany’s possessed. In 1886, Tiffany introduced the “Tiffany Setting,” elevating the entire stone off the band and onto prongs, becoming the symbol of true love that it is today! But here are some facts that your SO can appreciate too!

“In 1862, Tiffany & Company supplied the Union Army with swords (Model 1840 Cavalry Saber), flags and surgical implements.”

“Throughout Tiffany’s history, the U.S. Government has called upon the company to create commemorative designs. Among them are ceremonial swords for Civil War generals; the Congressional Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military award; and the 1885 redesign of the Great Seal of the United States, which appears on the one-dollar bill.”

“Business and professional organizations have also commissioned Tiffany to create custom designs. The most well known is the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the National Football League Super Bowl® Championship. Tiffany has created the trophy since the first Super Bowl in 1967.”

Tiffany’s made its mark in the world by becoming a distinctly American brand. European design houses offered ceremonial patterns and traditional Victorian opulence. Tiffany’s embraced “simplicity, harmony, and clarity.” It’s a brand that embraced who it was and capitalized on it! And you dolls KNOW, I’m all about that!
