A Merry and Bright Lightroom Filter
Growing up, Christmas Eve was just as exciting as Christmas day. My mom and I actually exchanged presents that night instead of on Christmas morning!
That’s why, on this Christmas Eve, I wanted to share a little present with you!
I’m not too secretive when it comes to presents. As my dolls will tell you, I will give you a present, and then take it right back to open it for you and explain what it is! I just get too excited!
The same goes for my life. I am all too ready to share my insider tips on running a business, creating great content, and all things PR. I’ve already shared my Instagram Trade Secrets, where I detail my favorite iPhone editing app (Pic Tap Go) But I wanted to take it a step further and share my custom Lightroom filter with you!
It’s called DollsPartyPretty (of course) and you can download it here.
When we move into #TheDollDreamhouse, #TheDollHQ will have natural light galore. For now, I use this filter to batch edit dark photos! A doll can’t have dark photos on her feed, can she?!
The DollsPartyPretty filter adjusts the white balance to give your photos a natural light vibe. Did I mention that you can apply it to all your photos at once? This saves SO much time and will help the photos on your feed stay consistent! I don’t know about you, but when I am traveling (or just running around all day) the lighting in my photos can change drastically, making my Insta squares mismatched. Applying the same filter every time helps!
To install, all you have to do is download the file, open up Lightroom, move to the develop module in the top right, and click the little plus sign next to “Presets” on the left. Now “Import Presets.” Select DollsPartyPretty from downloads or wherever you saved it, hit import, and you’re done! You may need to restart the program to see the preset, but once you’ve imported it, it will be there forever for your use.
Don’t forget to tag me @thecarolinedoll and use #dollspartypretty if you use this filter! I would love to see it in action with your incredible content!
Merry Christmas, doll!
