How I Style My Favorite Closet Staple: The Tulle Skirt
The tulle skirt has ALWAYS been a brand icon at POSH PR®! In the early days of my business, I would wear tulle every single day! This is because I was working to attract my ideal client. Through the use of a strategic hashtag (#TutuTuesday, of course!) my little dream grew into something so much bigger than I ever expected. To say I have a sentimental attachment to tutu skirts would be a major understatement.
Girly glam has always been my go-to. In truth, I feel the most myself when I’m in my tutu skirts! I just love the whimsy and fun that a little bit of tulle adds to any outfit! That’s why, to this day, you can find me twirling around town in my tutu skirt. Life is a party — dress like it! Today I wanted to show you Dolls a few ways that I style this closet must-have!
Life of the party
From the start, the tutu skirt was my signature look. This image is actually from my very first photoshoot that I ever did for the POSH PR® website! EEK! It is so fun to look back on this. Here I styled a graphic tee with a blush pink tutu for a light, bright, and airy feel.
Pretty in *hot* pink
Paired with my favorite white Doll tee, I love this ultra girly and feminine look. It is so fun to pair a simple tee with an over-the-top tulle skirt. I think it is a nice balance and lets the tutu truly shine! Finish it off with your favorite pair of heels and you’re set, Doll!

Looking for a more subdued tulle skirt? I love how light this skirt is without adding too much volume. This is an easy way to wear tulle if you’re just testing the waters out! Throw on your favorite pretty pink fur to finish off this outfit, Dolls!
when in doubt, rock it out
This skirt has been a favorite recently. It’s my mullet tutu skirt because of its short front and long back. I haven’t been able to resist purple lately so this was an absolute must-have for me. Paired with my favorite Barbie tee and a great pair of Sophia Webster booties, I feel unstoppable and ready to take on a new day!
oops, i did it again
Does this look familiar?! I loved the purple version of this skirt so much that I HAD to buy it in the Champagne shade. I may have been in quarantine for my birthday this year, but that didn’t stop me from getting dressed up and having a great day! I styled this skirt with a white Gucci graphic tee and one of my favorite Louis Vuitton bags.
