My Favorite Blondes

There is always a defining feature that people remember you by.  For me, it has always been my blonde hair!  I love being blonde and my hair has become a way that people recognize me.  Something I have noticed about being a blonde woman is that there are many misconceptions that come along with it.  There have been multiple occasions where people thought I wasn’t educated simply based on the color of my hair.  I love proving them all wrong!  I have always loved looking to fellow blonde women to guide me.  I am so inspired by ALL of the women around me, but I also have a long list of blonde Dolls that have my heart.

Today I’ve pulled together some of my favorite blondes to share with you, Dolls.  From Barbie and Princess Diana to Elle Woods and Dolly Parton, inspiration comes in many forms!  Check out a few of my favorite blondes!

Dolly Parton

At 74 years old, this southern belle just won’t quit! I absolutely love her drive and have admired her for years. One of my favorite Dolly quotes is, “If you don’t like the road you’re walking, start paving another one.” Dolly has never been afraid to speak her truth and has shown that when you pave your own road, it can take you far! This Doll-y is such an inspiration!

Princess Diana

Princess Diana is the perfect example of kindness and beauty. She is often remembered as the “People’s Princess” because of her widespread popularity. Diana was able to touch people’s hearts by being her true self. Despite criticism from many, she stayed true to who she was. Her compassion for others was undeniable and is something that lives on in her sons. She once said, “Only do what your heart tells you.” This continues to inspire me each day. When you lead with your heart, you can’t go wrong!

Elle Woods

I know what you Dolls are thinking…Elle Woods isn’t a real person!!! Although Elle Woods is a fictional character, I thought she was the perfect blonde for this list…plus she’s a fellow puppy lover! Elle was judged for her blonde hair, but instead of letting it define her in a negative way, she stopped everyone in their tracks to show them just how hard she would work to accomplish her goals. Never underestimate a Doll on a mission! This fashion-loving blonde is proof that when you set your sights on your dreams, nothing can get in the way of you achieving it! "What?…Like it’s hard?!”

Marilyn Monroe

Arguably the world’s most famous blonde, this bombshell is nothing short of iconic. One of my favorite Marilyn quotes is, “A wise girl knows her limits, a smart girl knows that she has none.” She was so right!!! This timeless beauty is often remembered for her troubled personal life, but I prefer to remember her for her larger-than-life attitude. Her old Hollywood glamour is forever a favorite of mine!

Barbie

No list of blondes could ever be complete without Barbie! It is no secret that I have an endless love for this Doll. For over 60 years now, she has inspired girls to be anything they want to be. I love that Barbie isn’t afraid to reinvent herself. She is the queen of the pivot! Barbie is iconic, classic, and beautiful, but she is also smart, driven, and powerful. As if my love for her wasn’t obvious, my whole office in #TheDollHQ is Barbie-themed. What better inspiration is there than a Doll who reaches for her dreams?!

The list of women who inspire me is truly endless, but i couldn’t resist the chance to highlight a few of my favorites! Whether they are blonde, brunette, or anything in between, I love looking to others for Inspiration and motivation!
