When Dreams Become Reality!  Welcome to #TheDollDreamHouse!

Dolls, I have been waiting so long for this!  It’s time for the official reveal of #TheDollDreamHouse!  Eek, the day is finally here!  I know you’ve seen a few sneak peeks throughout the last few weeks, but it feels so amazing to walk you through our new home.  These last few weeks to get it finished have been exciting and busy to say the least, but it has all been beyond worth it.  When it came to Costa and I designing our home, we landed on 3 M’s — Modern, Malibu, and Mediterranean.  We wanted #TheDollDreamHouse to be a balanced mix of each!  Costa likes to call the design Modernterranean.  Okay okay…I know that’s not a real word, but WOW does it describe our vision perfectly!  We have begun making memories in our new home already and we are so ready for what the future holds.  Now come on in Dolls!

From the moment you walk in the house, I wanted there to be a sense of elegant sophistication meets modern innovation.  Our front door by Pivot Door Company met both of those marks!  I love the grandeur that it adds to the front #TheDollDreamHouse and could not imagine our entrance any other way!  As you walk through the pivot door, right now you’ll immediately see our 15-foot white Christmas Tree!  I know it sounds crazy, but the architect truly designed and built our house around my dream tree.  It’s funny because although many questioned this decision or laughed it off as a joke, our glorious tree stands here today just like I always imagined it would!  Now Dolls, I won’t lie…nothing makes me happier than seeing it sparkle in all of it’s amazing glory today because it is truly a vision that has come to fruition!

It doesn’t take long to notice another major inspiration for #TheDollDreamHouse and I like to refer to it as “stone art”!  From the Italian white porcelain flooring throughout the home to the book matched marble and glass staircase, we strived for a cohesive and elegant way to showcase our style.  All of the bright natural light that comes through hitting the “stone art” is an absolute DREAM and I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving the way it lights up the room!  Speaking of lighting up the room, I HAVE TO share our a detail from our Living Room.  You tech-savvy Dolls are going to love this!  I have always searched for a white TV and had the hardest time finding one.  I started joking about it with our AV Team for the house and they guided me to our Frame TV!  While the television isn’t on, you can display art on it and when Costa wants to watch his soccer game (GO A.C. MILAN!) it can be easily switch to television mode.  I love that you can even buy different art pieces to display in the frame!

It would be wrong for me to talk about “stone art” without mentioning our stunning kitchen!  The Invisible Grey Marble in the kitchen is my FAVORITE!  I wanted it to truly make a statement and decided to forego upper cabinets so that the sightline in the kitchen would be one clean line.  Countervation did an absolutely fabulous job on all of the stone installations in the house.  They even built me this amazing table with some of the leftover slabs of marble we had!  The cherry on top of this gorgeous kitchen is the Miele appliance package.  I knew I had to have white appliances and this European company stole my heart with their flawless balance between form, function, and fit.  And Dolls I have to tell you — I have saved so much money at Starbucks because of my new Espresso Machine!  Gone are the days of my daily stop (sometimes twice daily…) at Starbucks and now I am enjoying delicious coffee drinks from the comfort of my own home.  Now that really does make this #TheDollDreamHouse, don’t you think?!

I have one last stop on our grand tour for today and that’s our master bedroom and bathroom!  You enter into the room through a matching pivot door just like the main entrance to the house.  The matching door was a last minute decision and I couldn’t be happier that we went with it!  The first thing you’ll see when you walk into our space is a wall of gorgeous Invisible Grey Marble.  I wasn’t lying when I told you it was my favorite, Dolls!  I absolutely love the big windows that let bright natural light into our space.  The gorgeous view doesn’t hurt either!  I knew the master bathroom needed to mimic the same bright white that is carried throughout the house, but I also required one last finishing touch — a soaking tub!  It is the tub of my dreams!  I’m pretty sure that from now on you’ll find me soaking in the tub with a glass of Champagne in hand!  Eek, this tub is going to take my Champagne Is Always The Answer® mood to a whole new level!

We’ve come a long way from our original design meetings and blueprints and I am over the moon with where we are now!  But there’s still a little ways to go.  So what’s next for #TheDollDreamHouse?  Well, Costa and I are currently dreaming up our Dining Room with…you guessed it, a stone table!  Our goal is to seat 16 in this space!  Now I think this moment calls for a glass of Champagne, what do you think Dolls?  Cheers to new adventures and future memories!
